37 in Plasma Displays: For Some, Bigger Isn’t Always Better
Plasma TV manufacturers have been trying to outdo each other by coming out with bigger and wider screens: from 50 inches to 80 inches to the
102-inch behemoths introduced by LG and Samsung to the 103-inch giant from Panasonic. But for those who don’t suffer from plasma TV envy
and who would rather have a cozier and more intimate experience with flat-screen digital television, 37-in plasma displays may be the option.
There is a wide variety of these smaller plasma televisions in the market today. Among the highest rated is the Panasonic TH-34PX50U
TV. The width-to-height ratio is akin to that seen on movie screens. Although definitely smaller in size than the displays in
theaters, the viewing experience is still excellent, with the 3000:1 contrast ratio and resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
Also from Panasonic’s family of plasma screen displays is the TH37PWD8UK 37-inch TV. Again, it shows high-definition-like television
content at its best, with crystal-clear images and finely tuned details. Advanced technology makes for a seamless viewing experience, with
none of the annoying horizontal lines that we usually see on ordinary television sets.
Then there’s the Sony KEP37M1B widescreen plasma television. With its black finish, it is an example of understated elegance from a
world-famous consumer electronics brand. Viewing is easy on the W-VGA panel and audio is superb on the Dolby Virtual Surround system.
It has Sony’s proprietary BRAVIA engine system, whose efficiency and durability makes this set worth owning for many.
There are many benefits to owning 37-in plasma displays. You can place one in your camper or trailer home, or have your child bring it
to his or her college dorm. And as many other people have done, you can even install it in your bathroom – watching your favorite show
while taking a bubble bath is such a luxury!
