It’s normal for a person to want value for money. Unless you’re too rich to care, you would usually want to get something that is worth the money you shelled out. Maxent’s 50-inch plasma display panel (PDP), the MX-50X3, looks to be something that’s a lot more than what it’s worth. For US$2,999 you get a large-screen plasma television – that’s a bargain compared to other large-screen models in the market today.
According to a news release in primezone.com, the MX-50X3 is laden with value features. It comes with detachable side-mounted speakers, advanced video processing capabilities, and dual high-definition inputs. It has a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, brightness of 900 cd/m2, and multi-scanning PC monitor support of up to 1280 x 1024. The number of displayable colors is 16.77 million. Without a stand, it measures 56.54 x 30 x 4.29 inches and weighs a little over 105 pounds.
The Maxent MX-50X3 plasma TV is available in Best Buy stores throughout the United States. With that price and the respectable features it has, this plasma screen seems to be a “best buy” indeed. It’s a lot more affordable than other large-screen plasma sets and a worthy addition to one’s home entertainment system.
