Here’s one thing that looks to be a big bang for your buck: the Pioneer PDP-4350HD Plasma TV. According to the company’s Website, this 43-inch display has an M.S.R.P. of $7,000, but it’s currently available for around $5,000. That’s still a lot of money, considering that other brands can be had at $2,000 or less.
The PDP-4350HD flat panel display, which came out tops in a Sound and Vision magazine evaluation of plasma TV’s, is high-definition in every sense of the word. According to an article by Jonathan Takiff in The Sun News, the features of this gadget justify its high price. For one thing, the picture quality is outstanding. The image is crisp and clear, and the colors leave almost nothing to be desired. Whether you’re across the room or up close, picture quality remains top-notch. For another thing, it’s user-friendly. The buyer does not have to do a lot of adjusting and tweaking once he purchases this model. Once it’s taken out of the box, it’s as good as ready to go — no special (and expensive) technical assistance needed.
Other features make the PDP-4350HD plasma TV more cost-effective in the long run. For instance, it’s engineered to maximize its product life cycle of 60,000 hours. The high-quality speakers deliver more than adequate sound, and the universal remote control will satisfy the most dedicated couch potato.
Paying $5,000 seems a bit much, but then, at least in this case, it seems to be worth it.
